The McDonogh Project: The Language of Sight will be presented on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 8:00 PM at the Williams Center for the Arts at Lafayette College. This world premiere theatrical production, written by award-winning playwright Judy Tate, tells the powerful true story of David McDonogh, Lafayette College’s first Black graduate and the first Black eye doctor in the United States, exploring his journey from enslavement to self-determined freedom and achievement.
